Alignment Points
In the camera tool, alignment points are used to rectify the camera and conform to a canvas location.
Audio
PrimeFrame supports multi-channel audio configurations with up to 64 channels via Dante® interfaces with support for dynamic and spatialized options.
Card
A card is a data-container and a button allowing you to investigate more informatio about a specific device, projector or server. Each plugin will use cards to organize multiple objects.
Channel
A channel is any output connected to PrimeFrame. Typically a channel is an umbrella term for any projector, screen or LED connected but it also includes the UI interface screens.
Channel State
For testing purposes, each channel can be set to different states other then the final content. Templates, color bars, grids and ID test frames can be set to output on any projector. This is the channel state.
Dock
The dock is the navigation for each plugin page. It appears on the left and can be shown or hidden by using the hamburger button in the top left corner.
Durational Events
A durational event in the sequence editor is a media event that contains information about the length of the media asset. When dropped into a sequence, the event will display as a block, indicating its playing length in the editor.
Events
An event is anything that PrimeFrame can do, Playing video files, triggering lighting console, anamatronic messages, LED effects etcetera. All events can be added to a collective sequence or individually activated.
Inputs
PrimeFrame will accommodate many different input sources. You can choose to configure your server with HDMI or SDI inputs. There is also native support for NDI and Spout. Certain web content can also be rendered internally.
Logs
Logs are usage messages and error recordings during PrimeFrame usage. These are stored on each computer.
Log Level
Logs have different severity levels based on the type of information they contain.
Mapping Tools
Projectors require different tools for calibration. PrimeFrame comes with multiple calibration tools built in that are accessible in the Calibration plugin.
Momentary Events
A momentary event is an outgoing message that has no duration. This could be a change of lighting, sound event or Triggering another sequence.
MQTT-In
MQTT messages can be interpreted and routed as UDP or UDP messages directly to remote servers.
Net-Connected
There is a status indicator showing whether or not you’re connected to the PrimeFrame network. A green status means that you’re connected. A gray status means you’re offline. An offline status could mean a hardware or software issue. You should contact Spectra if the net is disconnected during normal operation
Net-Offline
The server is disconnected from the master controller, please check the network connectivity or call support.
OSC-In
An incoming OSC message can be routed using the UDP router plugin.
Outputs
PrimeFrame has been configured for your needs and can accommodate any output display available. It is designed to simultaneously run dozens of projectors, LCD’s, and LED walls.
Plug-Ins
Each interface page is considered a Plugin. Your project will have only the specific plugins that you need.
Points
Points in the camera tool are used to detect changes in brightness at a specific point in the camera image. This is used as a trigger for further events or sequences.
PrimeFrame
Our combination of hardware and software specifically engineered for large dynamic visual environments
Regions
Similar to points, Regions in the camera tool allow you to specify a region of pixels in camera space that can be triggered when presence is detected in that region.
Server
All of the computers working on the PrimeFrame system are specifically designed media-servers. These specialized computers are built with high-end graphics hardware and software to provide the best performance.
Sequence
A sequence is a custom timeline of events that is started by a trigger.
Triggers
A trigger can be any momentary event that activates further actions, sequences or events. It could be a sensor system, button press or other input system.
UDP In
UDP messages can be routed and interpreted into PrimeFrame MQTT formatted messages using the UDP router plugin.
